Temporary Graduate Visa Australia (Visa Subclass 485)

The Post Study Work Visa (subclass 485) typically offers two years of unrestricted work rights. It's for those who've completed at least two years of full-time study in Australia, usually at the Bachelor degree level or higher. However, some trade qualification graduates may also qualify.

The Post Study Work Visa often paves the way for meeting the criteria for a permanent visa.

β˜‘οΈ General Skilled Migration: Your path to permanent residency, based on skills and work experience, without needing employer sponsorship. It's often called State Nomination and involves requirements, including a points test based on factors like age, English proficiency, work, and study history. Some cases require state government nominationΒ to meet the requirements or to add points to your application.

β˜‘οΈ Employer Sponsored Visas: If you don't meet skilled migration criteria but have an employer willing to sponsor you, this is the route. It usually starts with a temporary visa (subclass 482) and can lead to permanent residency after 3 years with your sponsor. The employer often prefers the TSS 482 visa transitional pathway.

Each pathway has its pros and cons, and the right choice depends on your unique circumstances. πŸ›€οΈ
